Aayana
Born in Victorville, California, raised
in Washington, DC, Aayana Johnson took interest in music at age seven when she participated in the school Christmas play.
Since then, she took up dancing while continuing to develop her craft vocally. Being the free sprit that she is, she never
had problems meeting other musicians and shortly after, word got around town of her accuracy to lay down vocal tracks in less
than three takes. Because during studio time, everyone knows that time is money.
Even though she has never worked with any big named artists, a lot of people know who she is. Her compassion to treat
others how she wants to be treated is the main reason why people, whoever work with her, learn to love her.
As an artist, Aayana's vision is to paint a picture of life, love, unity, strength, triumph, and compassion. Her writing
skills run parallel to Sade, Eryka Badu, Mya, and Chante Moore.
Aayana's goal is to have a complete marriage to a record company that will put her talent to great use instead of a write
off; for Aayana's vision is not to do two or three albums. Her vision is to make music and ride the truck until the wheels
fall off. For her vision and what's going on in music today, she knows that there is a lot of room for her if the right hands
lift her up.
